IRM ? What IRM ?

IRM -- RIP

What IRM? The IRM lost a court case and -- then said, they had won? They did not simply lose to the GBC, but they have also exposed themselves as con artists in the process. Their only claim to breath is a fast fading newsletter that reads like an S.O.S. Unless you receive their newsletter, you would need a seance to bring them back. And according to some reports, they are gradually losing manpower and life members in Bangalore due to ISKCON GBC "guru" Radhanatha's counter program there.

IRM? What IRM? The only place we see mention of these dinosaurs is on the PADA Newsletter. VNN will not give them any space, CHAKRA has refused their articles and Dipaka won't have a bar of them. If the PADA editor was to pull the plug, the IRM would deflate like a released balloon. Who cares anyway. They had their day in the sun with the TFO. Prabhupada's July 9th letter will live forever but the IRM's 'TFO' has been TKO'ed. As for the three alphabets: I. R. M. what does it mean? They have not reformed anything, least of all Iskcon. If the truth be told, they are really the "Reformed by ISKCON Movement."

When Krishna kanta (KK) first compiled The Final Order, it was a mess. At least KK first of all allowed a few senior devotees to become involved in the re-editing, and in so doing he partially rescued it. The final paper, when ready, attracted some devotees from around the world who fell in step with the IRM. Yet the TFO paper was still flawed with major philosophical deviations and outright mis-ciations of Srila Prabhupada which was pointed out right from the start, and has been pointed out thereafter by the GBC, Narayana Maharaja clan, and every body else. Yet the IRM refuses to correct their "mistakes" since, once "guru-ji" KK has spoken, none can alter the "absolute truth." It is another personality cult, the guru makes no mistakes (even when he does) this is the same as the GBC's problem, or any personality cult for that matter. Observe any wacko cult and you will find the same thing, they refuse to correct erroneous statements.

For example the IRM says that they only deal with "direct quotes" in TFO. Then, they say these "direct quotes," weave a tangled tale about Prabhupada's predictions for the next 10,000 years, all made up whole cloth, by chopping, splicing, cutting and pasting -- a number of "indirect" quotes? They do not even give us -- one direct quote where Prabhupada says there will be IRM's favorite concoction "hard and soft ritviks" for 10k? Then they say: this concocted 10k argument refers to the July 9th letter, May 28th tape etc., yet none of these documents makes any mention of 10,000 years, hard and soft ritviks etc. -- at all? So they discredit these documents by making them say something -- they do not say -- a la GBC?: obfuscation of the real documents.

And worse, then the IRM's Yaduraja says in TFO that there is "a direct quote" -- where Srila Prabhuapada had simultaneously established two contrary and divisive ideas, two opposing ideas read: two warring camps, the "hard and soft ritviks" -- who will be battling each other for the next 10k? No, he never established any or either of such camps? Why would he want his followers to be dis-united at all, what to speak of the IRM's idea, Prabhupada said they will be disunited for 10k? This is like saying "God established the two dueling Northern Ireland camps, so they could fight for 10k"? And worse, the IRM says Prabhupada made these two competing camps -- who would fight for the next 10,000 years, even after we asked them to show us where he said he wanted either camp and they had no reply? Yet Prabhupada never established, or even mentioned once, "hard and soft ritviks"? Nor did he ever even mention he was going to establish such things --- ever? Nor did he say he wanted his followers to be fighting and dividing for the next 10,000 years over: who is hard and soft?

In other words, the IRM came out saying, "We are the -- hard (ritviks) and thus, since we are the 'hard' followers, we are the REAL and BONA FIDE followers. Ummm, because we supported butt sex and child molester worship for 20 years? So that means we IRM are the big, hard and strict, rough and tough guys, and the rest of you, those of you who opposed their butt sex with kids guru project which molested over 1,000 children, your guys are all soft -- i.e. weak and foolish." Ok then... ! By the way, the IRM never even apologized for their supporting their child molester worship project which also murdered dissenters? No, they simply came out of supporting that deviation saying, we are the real devotees, we are the real big tough guys here, you folks who tried to stop our child molester worship project, you are weak and "soft." Al Capone's bookeeper is a strong nice guy, hard and fast, and a big saint, but the police who caught Al Capone they are -- the weak fools?

Anyway, before long the people who jumped on board the IRM discovered they were goose-stepping to a sort of fascist rule. For example Krishna kanta told a group of senior devotees in Canada (at an IRM meeting) that he could take any side of the debate and still defeat them. He was the new self-appointed conquering muni for the jagat, he said he was able to beat the biggest pundits on the planet, nevermind that for 20 years his clan was totally stumped and could not answer our first question, "Where are homosexual child molesters found in our parampara"? It was the first indication that the IRM was being run by a dictator, like a banana republic. This, although apparently minor, raced around Canada and lost the IRM's foothold in that part of the world. They never went back there. The IRM had a reputation there for being loud mouthed braggarts, ummm, like the GBC's gurus? We can defeat all your pundits, ...after we supported child molester pooja for 20 years. Very humble pie!

Next IRM crisis came with the poison issue. A meeting in Malaysia ensued with Krishna Kanta raving like a maniac: that the IRM has to contain and defeat the poison case, and that de facto PADA is an evil fool for even bringing it up, umm just like he was an evil fool for bringing up the molesting guru regime which we supported? KK decided that 'No poison literature was to be distributed by IRM members.' This was not optional, no one could discuss the issue or they would be tossed out of the IRM. Speaking about the topic was viciously muzzled. This is another cult mentality, "No one can discuss Ramesvara's picking up Rukmini at her high school." Why not? It goes against the cult. An IRM "counter paper to the poison case" was thus made to attack the case, which was another quickly spliced cut and paste job written by KK, and he insisted IRM members had to sign on to it. Other GBC gurus and similar cult tyrants make these same types of papers, so KK said you have to sign "an oath of allegience" -- like a Nazi "identification paper." Again, since their paper was another hastily drawn up hatchet job, it was also full of flaws so much so they later had to admit that their explanation was not sufficient, so they had to direct people to hear from Tamal's chakra site for -- the full explanation.

Some IRM members, whether for or against the poison revelations, decided that such decisions were personal, and in any case the issue needs to be discussed openly, and so they protested the IRM's attempt to stifle and muzzle the case, and silence any open discussion of the issue. This harassing of the poison case made it appear that the IRM was de facto taking orders from the GBC and Tamal through the back door, as many suspected. And oddly, this was confirmed when the IRM began to cite Tamal's version of the poison case as the only valid version. The main suspect -- is their main authority? "Judas is the only person we can talk to about the disappearance of Jesus."

What eventuated could only be described as the beginning of the end for the IRM. Members and friends began to walk away. Despite this fact, the IRM did not publicly notify devotees or amend its "United Worldwide Membership" (Newsletter 7). The membership shrunk to a couple of bosses propped up on a stipend, and a handful of 'ritviks' with no power, nowhere to go, and nothing to do. Then the IRM decided it was time to go legal.

What followed was more desperation, which first showed publicly when they claimed that the GBC had submitted 'false documents' to the court thereby committing perjury. Newsletter No.13 read: "If found guilty the GBC will now face imprisonment." The article ended with, "Either way the chances that the GBC will prevail in this court case are receding daily." We kept an eye out everyday for the conclusion of the perjury charges... nothing happened. Instead what we got was a final decision by the Indian courts: The IRM had lost the case in toto. But the IRM never released a Newsletter admitting it or even mentioning it. Although the case was lost, it soon became clear that the IRM had no intention of dissolving.

Instead they began looking at ways to tear off Iskcon's property and establish themselves as an independent group. Their race had been run yet they hung on to whatever support they had accumulated through using the July 9th letter. This confirmed the belief of many that the IRM was initiated to play power politics and nothing else. It had no intention of disbanding whether it succeeded in implementing a ritvik system or not. They had used Srila Prabhupada as equally or more deceptively than those they had accused. In sum, they wanted a position and assets from corporate ISKCON, as indeed they argued with Puranjana and others right from the beginning: they wanted to make the bogus child molester guru cult GBC their co-leaders in order to gain their own post. And we said, this is compromise: in order to get a post in the institution. They wanted a position, not to get to the truth, not to indicate what "the direct quotes" on any topic really are, not to discover what the poison complaint is really about, not to unite the Prabhupada devotees, and so on. Sanat said the same thing to Gadai, PADA is not giving me recognition, I am going to fight with him. Recognition, position.

After being drubbed in court, the IRM began using more dead wood arguements to stay afloat. They had no more basis for existence, so the group began a propaganda campaign. In an unabashed attempt to remain in the public eye, they fed off a rape/ suicide/ and fatality story, to be perceived as valid. This, after they said that PADA was bogus for emphasizing some of these same types of crimes previously? This took the whole reason for IRM conception away and replaced it with issues that had nothing to do with its position paper, the TFO. It also shows that their whole complaint about PADA was invalid, they were only upset with PADA because our exposes were not making them the new "reformers."

What followed the IRM court loss was, and still is for those who receive their Newsletter, nothing more than a grab for survival. Most notorious of these IRM desperations are the rape/ suicide case involving Basanti devi and Suresvara Das. In this particular case the IRM claimed that Basanti took semen from another man and placed it on her clothes under orders from Jayapataka. The reason for this exercise they claimed, was to discredit the IRM by implicating one of its members. Why the IRM believed that thinking people would swallow this re-write of history is a revelation in itself. And why this double tragedy was chosen by the IRM as propaganda, further revealed its state of mind. Listed below are some IRM quotes and exaggeration taken from that particular case connection.

ISKCON Guru on Run From Police - Suicide Case Special 2. Mayapura Filed False Rape Case. Under this caption the IRM tells us, "...so as to give the REAL picture and the actual FACTS of the situation [...] we pride ourselves on sticking only with DOCUMENTED facts."

Barely a few lines into the article we find sensationalism and hearsay creeping in: "Unfortunately, so desperate have our detractors become, that this absence of mine from Calcutta was actually used as evidence first that I had been 'assassinated', and then subsequently that I was in hiding," Needless to say, there is no source for this 'evidence' or who had 'actually used' it, and for what ultimate purpose. Then we got this: "On August 3rd, unable to take any more false incarceration, Suresvara allegedly commits suicide. (Some devotees even suspect foul play)." We find no statements from the "some devotees" or the reason why they would believe someone/anyone could/would enter a police lock-up and "foul play" (kill) a man suspected of rape. A quick assessment would tell us that the IRM was not about to give the "real picture" or the "facts" what to speak of "Documented facts."

The IRM then told us: "Jayapataka Swami had already fled the country.... and has made no attempts to return ...he is continually on the move ...lest he is picked up by the police for his part in the conspiracy." Everyone was taken in by these postings and many heeded the IRM's emergency call. But the IRM was bluffing, they were still canvassing for a following by using a double tragedy to make friends and influence people. They sent out an all points bulletin that involved many in the "chase" for Jayapataka. When the IRM had as many devotees as possible on their side, the propaganda took on a "protect me from the demon" theme: " Thus the whole complaint is false from start to finish - and was cooked up by Jayapataka's camp to try and somehow implicate me (Adri)..... they finally cook up a false allegation against one of our devotees, in the hope of implicating me. No wonder he is on the run!"

And then the IRM came at us with this one: "Jayapataka Swami (JPS) is on the run from the Indian legal system. We have even produced evidence where JPS has admitted this fact." It was only when Jayapataka announced that he was not on the run from anything that the IRM "bulletins" began to look suspicious. JPS: "By the way I am not on the run. I am doing my normal preaching tour as every year."(Jayapataka Swami, 15/9/00, Com Message 3547427)." After making this statement Jayapataka returned to India and was never arrested or prosecuted. This was: all KK's smoke and mirrors, more IRM bluff, sensationalism, and oddly, what they always protested about PADA, that we distorted stories "like the National Enquirer." No, we never inflated stories, what to speak of made them up?

On Jayapataka's return to India, the IRM's attitude changed yet again, they told us: "JPS suddenly found all his escape routes cut off. Thus within a few days of our announcement he was forced to return back to India... Looking subdued and haggard, many devotees did not even recognise him since he has now grown a beard!" We could see that the mood had changed from positive legal prosecution to propaganda. Soon after, and without even a beg-your-pardon, the International chase for Jayapataka started by the IRM, began to take on a smoky conclusion. IRM: "The fact that the original rape allegation was simply a plot masterminded by the Jayapataka camp to try and implicate ME has now been conclusively proven." And then to a bickering, "...uses it as a tool to try and implicate me, his arch-enemy - which was the real purpose behind this false rape allegation in the first place." But there was no arrest made, nor was there any prosecution for the "false rape allegation" or the "conclusively proven" plot that Jayapataka had hatched. In any case, their blatant lies discredited the "ritvik effort" all the more, the apparent real result of the IRM?

Jayapataka said: "As far as I am concerned Yasomati Nandana and Adri are now totally discredited to use an innocent woman who is a rape victim as a pawn in ritvik politics is ridiculous and sinful." The IRM response to the Jayapataka quote above was a wild accusation. IRM: "In the same message he also claims that I 'set-up' the rape, which as we have just seen is just a fabrication." I have studied the Jayapataka quote above (and any one can) but cannot find the "claim" mentioned by the IRM. What I do see very clearly is the IRM claiming that Jayapataka "plotted" and "conspired," and it was "conclusively proven," and then he ran away with the police in hot pursuit. In the final analysis however, Jayapataka was never prosecuted by the police, the IRM, or anyone else. Basanti devi dasi, whom the IRM said was looking at fifteen years in jail for taking another man's semen and putting it on her clothes just to implicate the IRM, is still free as well. She gave her story on CHAKRA and it was never challenged. The IRM slowly fizzed out on their postings. DISCREDITED because, they lied. Of course if they would lie here, ... would they lie to defend the poisoners?

The next scavenge for IRM news came in the shape of a bomb blast in Mayapur. It took the life of one person. Using the 9/11 tragedy in the US as a delivery crease, the IRM opened with, "Newsletter 50. MAYAPUR BOMB BLAST REVEALS GBC TERRORIST CAMPAIGN..[...]...horrific events that took place in New York on 11th September. Many devotees see these events and the war which has followed as a sign that the only hope for humanity really is Krishna Consciousness, as we approach the precipice of a 3rd world war. However just when you thought things could not get any worse, they do." What then followed was an IRM confirmation that ISKCON "has been caught red-handed engaging in a terrorist bomb-making plot". Naturally, we were all concerned that the GBC had fallen to such depths, and gave the IRM all credit for exposing them. But we had not yet discovered how low the IRM could limbo. As we followed reports trying to discover why the GBC had resolved to such dangerous devises to achieve their goals (whatever those goals may be) we were further informed by the IRM, "But now both the Indian media and police have confirmed that ISKCON Mayapur have themselves been making bombs in the holy dhama!" This was sensational. We felt that Iskcon's GBC had finally done something so stupid there could be no way out.

To get us even more in the mood, the IRM posted this one: All of the major newspapers in India (Asian Age, Hindustan Times, Times of India and Calcutta Statesman), as well as the Indian police, exposed this illegal activity as having taken place within the ISKCON Mayapur temple complex itself by disciples of Jayapataka Swami and the head of Mayapur's security force (see full newspaper reports below)." This was a strange direction for the IRM to take because in the Basanti vs Suresvara case, they had ridiculed JPS for relying on newspaper articles, IRM: "This shows that JPS is a hypocrite since he is happy to rest his whole defence on newspaper reports when it suits him, even though he knows they contain many inaccuracies." Then the truth hit home: the IRM had taken us on another wild 'walking us up the garden path.' Looking through the six or so newspapers articles, we found not a single accusation directed at Jayapataka or his disciples or anything serious against Iskcon. Here below, is the worst of the newspaper articles:

1.But the ISKCON authorities said, "Babu left security job before two and half years ago."(Sangabad Pratidin, 16/10/2001) 2. Nitai Prasad prabhu, the ISKCON spokesman, is not prepared to accept the said persons as being ISKCON staff. He said the incident took place on ISKCON property, but stated that the said persons had nothing to do with ISKCON."(Ananda Patrika Bazzar, 14/10/01). 3.Such incidents will not be allowed to recur,' he said. ISKCON sources said the two were not connected to their organisation. "The incident took place outside the complex." an ISKCON spokesman said. But the Police maintained that the blast took place inside the complex.(Asian Age, 14/10/01). 4. "Police sources also said the two had a past criminal record." 5. Initially, the temple authorities had denied any connection with the de-ceased or the injured but on Sunday admitted that Ghose was a group D staff."(The Times of India, 15/10/01) 6. In the mean time the police have noticed some irregularities in the official papers of the ISKCON main office."(Ganshakti, 15/10/01).

To make sure the message was clearly understood, the IRM pointed out, "You will notice from the reports how the Mayapur authorities have been trying to squirm out of admitting the obvious, and as usual tried to engage in their usual lies and begin a cover-up. It did not last long since the evidence was so damning that even they had to admit the truth". Then, what followed was similar to the Basanti/ Suresvara case in which we were told by the IRM that Jayapataka had gone on the run. IRM: "Following the incident the Police have reported that many of the leaders and managers at Mayapur have fled, while some western 'devotees' have fled the country, and there is hardly anyone in a position of authority that can be questioned." Our Mayapura reporter said that except for late pujaris trying to get the offering to the deities, no one was doing any running.

And then the IRM finally told us why the GBC was making bombs. (1) "While the investigations and interrogations are going on, we have learned both from our sources in Mayapur and the Police, that the bombs were being made to be used in a terrorist attack to take over the 22, Gurusadaya Road, property in Calcutta..." (2) "Frustrated at their many previous failures to obtain entry, the plan was to use the bombs to blow the gates and scare all the security guards and devotees inside to flee in panic, thus allowing the Mayapur mob to finally storm the place and claim possession." (3) "Of course we had no idea at the time, that they were actually making bombs to assist in their terrible deeds." (4) "Babu Ghosh, the chief bomb maker who died in the explosion, came to visit the property with Dayarama Das, the head of Mayapur. They were seen 'casing the place', making a survey, and also made threats that they would be soon taking the place over."

Then came this IRM conclusion which told us that Jayapataka's disciple and Mayapur authorities were actually building a "bomb factory." IRM: "The fact remains that the head of Mayapur's security and an initiated disciple of Jayapataka could not have been building a bomb factory on the temple property without the blessings and active planning of the Mayapur authorities. These authorities being Jayapataka Swami, Bhakti Caru Swami and Dayarama Das." One can only imagine how important the IRM was for Mayapur management to need a 'bomb factory' to get rid of them.

Having convinced everybody that the incident was worse than World War Three, and after using someone's death (like they did the rape/ suicide tragedy) to keep the IRM from death itself, they signed of with: "Many people have commented on how they have been blown away by the bold preaching of the ISKCON Revival Movement (IRM)." After this comment from "many people," the IRM never mentioned the incident again. Jayapataka was not prosecuted (yet again); no one from Iskcon was questioned further and in the end there was no need to bomb Gurusadaya Road or Calcutta temple ...Iskcon had taken it away -- legally. Of course had the IRM used the GBC's embezzling, poison case, the molesting, or other crimes, committed by the GBC, they might have legally -- won? Yet the problem here is that Adri was Jayapataka's cheif right hand man for many years, so if he blew the whistle on the bad guys too much, he might be implicated? Or what?

We also heard about the IRM's problems with the GBC at Kumbha Mela, and then one of their members deserted and took sides with the GBC, revealing all. A little later, there was the Ratha Yatra incident where IRM claimed Iskcon was attempting to snatch the deities from Calcutta. The IRM claimed that police were sent to protect the deities from the GBC goondas. We later found out the police were there to make sure the IRM handed the deities over to Iskcon. Then the IRM claimed that Iskcon's Calcutta Ratha Yatra was a flop. IRM's propaganda department produced a fistful of newspaper clippings to prove the fact. A few days later Bhakti-Caru produced a heap of newspaper quotes proving differently. Then the IRM claimed that they were the ones taking care of Srila Prabhupada's tree in Tompkin's Square Park. The prabhu who was looking after it came out angry as heck. She said the IRM had nothing to do with it - they were liars. Another IRM newsletter claimed to have made inroads into Australia, yet -- where? If the IRM (are they still alive?) can give the names of even two of its members in Australia, we would be very surprised.

When visiting the IRM website, the most noticeable feature on the front page is a list of devotee names. At first the list might be mistaken for a membership, but it couldn't be. They don't have that many members. Clicking on any of the names will tell you that what you are looking at is an "argument page." Soon you will understand that the names are bogus trophies being used to decorate the altar of ego set up by the IRM's master muni KK, and dedicated to his right of existence. There is a likelihood that the site may be mistaken for a cyber predator, but this is incorrect. Read some of the articles and you will discover it to be no more than a scavenger's roost.

Forget the IRM. They have revealed themselves to be no different from those whom they wrestled for power; the ISKCON GBC. In their attempt to attain grandeur, they have risen to the limits of their own incompetence, and are now ineffective. Why give anything they say credence by mentioning it publicly. Allow the IRM to go RIP, they deserve it.
