Dear Pada,

I recently read with great appreciation the wise words of my good friend
Bhakti Vikas Swami, who shows by his personal example the way sadhus should
behave. For this reason, he wasn't much appreciated here at Prabhupada
Village. 

It was interesting to hear from Keshava Bharati das defending iskcon leaders. 
He is also my former friend of mine and a seemingly sincere and dedicated 
devotee. 

I wonder, though, if he ever apologized to all the devotees he has offended 
by his fanaticism and deviation? While all devotees were engaged in great 
austerity and sankirtana in Spain, this man used tour around the country 
propogating love for Bhagavan das. 

He onced tried to preach to my wife to dump me because I wasn't a book 
distributor or a guru groupie. (She was the number two woman book distributor 
in Spain at that time.) He also helped break up marriages, and like a pimp, he
arranged women book distributors to get remarried according to their whim
if their husbands were not in sinc with the local guru business. 

All during this time, as we later learned, this rascal was touring the
country and bedding down with the local whores. He was using Prabhupada's
money earned by blood and tears in book distribution to pay his whores. He
had one in every town. At the same time he was also trying to become guru.
Such is the class of those who are presently the defenders of the gbc. They
are one club and all the same class unless they speak out. Rather, like
many here at PV, they have vested interests and are afraid to even think,
what to speak of think.

[PADA: There are many people at Prabhupada Village who have told me theyare in full agreement with PADA. One problem is that as soon as people maketheir feelings public, they may be harassed, suppressed, perhaps even--threatened by GBC goons. So, this is perhaps something for the defense ofPrabhupada Village folks, they are afraid of the GBC's goonda patrols. Someof them agree with us, but they are not willing to make that public. Facingup to a violent pedophile worshipping cult, like Sulochana did, is noteveryone's cup of tea. I do feel however that the times are changing, andit is now ripe for all of us to come out more boldly. This is especiallytrue considering that ex-gurukulis and ex-disciples are feeling suicidal,and so there is an urgent need to reach out at this time.]
