Puranjana's not a bad guy, he has some very valid points.
PREACHING STYLES (pada)In post 1977 ISKCON, again Sridhara Maharaja, Narayana Maharaja, both Puri Maharajas et al. endorsed the GBC as "living (popes or) gurus," and the same history repeated. Dissenters to their deviant (popes or) gurus were harasssed in the exact same way, being shunned, banned, beaten and even killed. And in the middle ages, even when the banning, beating, killing and so on was at its height, some very deviant folks then wanted to join together with the ecclessiastical party and get their rubber stamps as added bishops, cardinals or popes. And the same exact thing occurred in post 1977 ISKCON, folks such as Tripurari wanted to be "voted into the GBC's guru lineage" while at the same time the GBC was at the height of its molesting of children, declaring that homosexual pedophiles are God's successor gurus, and "burning dissenters at the stake" project.
Iskcons so called gurus were only some administrators, GBCs, ritviks, neophytes, and certainly not "successor gurus" as NM claimed, but he will not state this in public documents since he is too embarassed probably? Making the mistake, as NM has done, of declaring homosexuals as Krishna's successors would make him appear as a fool to his ignorant sisyas? So he cleverly hides his endorsement and claims that he never endorsed them, in sum, he is misrepresenting what is a GBC, and the role Srila Prabhupada made for such neophytes, and worse, NM prompts his sisyas like ISA to say the GBC were intended to be diksha gurus. He cannot admit: he goofed?
And what happened in ISKCON, we see clearly. India's "small town gurus" like Sridhara Maharaja, Narayana Maharaja, both Puri maharajas and so on, they came forward to defend the corrupt takeover plot of the GBC to grab the financial assets of ISKCON, and to make unqualified Westerners into "vedic gurus." They defended the false guru (papal voting) system established by these "kaitava dharma" religious cheaters. Why? Well for starters, most of them supported the same corrupt takeover plot of the post 1936 Gaudiya Matha. So they have sympathy for these types of plotters and schemers, some would argue, because they are themselves motivated for the same false prestige and cult like control.
