Prabhu, I am looking for some things that were apparently published about
Varsana (ex) Swami in the fall of 97 and summer of 98. Somethings about his
connections with female disciples and taking intoxication. There may have
been something in 99 also. I have been unable to find them in your
archives. Thanks

not sure when his article was posted. Varsana did make a statement later
that he was taking alcohol "for health reasons," and I think this
was
posted on CHAKRA? If anyone else remembers when we posted the Varsana

1) CONCERN OVER LAWSUIT PUBLICTY
[PADA Needs the karmi names of folks like Ratnabusana (Wayne Selzler?),
Virabahu, and others for an upcoming info document on the Los Angeles
pedo-pooja-ites, and their refusal to sign a document stating that
homosexual pedophiles are not links in a chain of folks (the GBC itself
said) are like Jesus, whereas the worshippers of Satan do not say that
God's successors, and in sum folks who are like Jesus, are or were
homosexual pedophiles. Please send asap.]
The Windle Turley lawsuit is gaining steam and momentum. The GBC might be
real good at getting people beaten up on Watseka, but the courtroom is
another field altogether where the GBC's bag of tricks, such as magic
rabbits, and/or conjured up snakes and loaded dice, will have no effect. We
read how the demons used to make illusions such as raining snakes, and so
on, but the smart people are not fooled by this. The judge has seen all
these tricks and lots more that the GBC has never even dreamed up yet. Yet
several devotees have wrote to us complaining that the child molestation
lawsuit, wrongful death poison lawsuit, or other similar lawsuits, will
eventually be highly publicized and will create a negative public image.
Well yes and no.
If you have few corrupt Church leaders, and you DO fix it, granted, this
may create a short range publicity problem, but this will diminish in a
short time, and actually people will congratulate you for cleaning up your
house. However, if you have long range, continuous, ongoing, chronic cases
of corruption in the leadership, and you do NOT fix it, then this creates a
very bad publc image --for the very long range. This is because it looks
like --not only-- are the leaders corrupt, but the followers are ignorant,
asleep at the switch, acqueiscing space-cadets, or perhaps de facto
encouraging the corruption. In sum, it reminds people of the behavior of
cults and not bona fide religions. Another factor is: it can be very
dangerous for a few lone "dissenters" to try and bring forward a complaint
on their own since they can be beaten and killed. Hence, legal process may
be THE ONLY viable route.
The Catholic Church has had just such a reputation: for fostering and
protecting corruption, even with inquisitions etc., but as we see now, they
are working much more rapidly and openly to remedy bad management, since
they have learned that "doing nothing," "covering-up," and/or
just plain
"procrastination" creates an image of entrenched malefic corruption.
For
example, locally (a big news story even in today's local press) a Catholic
regional management system was found to have corrupt leadership. And as a
result, the congregation(s) demanded action. A priest was forced to resign,
another was charged with civil criminal acts. An independent auditor was
then brought in, hired by the congregation, and so on.
As a result, the congregation, and the general public, have renewed their
faith that the Church is managing its affairs reasonably. Later, the Church
held a public meeting where the congregation and the public were invited
and the issues were discussed openly, and the meeting was video-taped and
portions were televised. The 98 lb. little nun who originally challenged
these corruptions (she was initially branded as a kooky nut-case) has now
become a sort of local hero. She is kind of like the "pada" of the
local
Church's area....
That is sort of what we have to do as well. Clearing these issues up
internally is always best, but the GBC has no interest in that. So, just
like this Church, they had to go to the law and the media since there was
criminal activity. Then later, they made an open and public clearing up of
these issues. The public already knows that the GBC has created a violent
"cult enforced ritualistic worship of homosexual pedophiles as good as
God"
pooja project. Their only question now is, "Why are the guys who
orchestrated these heinous imbroglios still in charge and worshipped as
good as God"? So, the public will be glad to see that this is being
addressed, just like the public here is glad to see that the local Church
is taking these issues up and is fixing its mismanagers and getting
managerial accountability back into the forefront.
A lot of people think that this problem was made worse in ISKCON due to
misunderstanding the word "henceforward." Yes, the orginal July 9th
letter
says that Srila Prabhupada shall be worshipped "henceforward." So,
where is
the instruction that "henceforward" homosexual pedophiles shall be
worshipped as good as God, oh ye big GBC and Gaudiya Matha scholars and
siddhanta mix-meisters? Even the Satan worshippers never say that God's
successors are homosexual pedophiles? They have at least some nominal
respect for the Lord? Where does this bogus idea come from? We have never
seen this idea expressed in any religion, or even the most bogus wacko or
evil cults, or as we pointed out, even in the Satanists: that God's
successors are homosexual pedophiles? Oh ye GBC and Gaudiya Matha
renegades, why speaketh ye with forked tongues?

2) "NEW LEAF" FEEDBACK---
A NUMBER of devotees said that they are glad to find out that the
Satsvarupa's goondas are still threatening to kill people, and that JPS's
goondas are still trying to throw the devotees into the black hole of
Calcutta prisons etc., beacause this proves that "we were right all along
about the GBC being incorrigible goondas." So, why would then not have
poisoned Srila Prabhupada since they will try to agress his sons, daughters
and children? And this also means that court cases are a good idea since
there is no "talking reasonably" to people who are banning, threatening,
beating and so on like these violent gestapos.

3) SRILA PRABHUPADA'S "VERY HUMAN STORY"
and the Dhyanakunda dd fiasco (pada)
Yes, it is really easy to blame and blast some woman for "being offensive"
and creating conditions where some of the GBC's have to resign due to her
"offensivenesss." Yet no one dares to ask, "Why are the people
in ISKCON,
such as Dhyanakunda dd, thinking that Srila Prabhupada has tinges of being
an ordinary man"? Who trained her to think like that in the first place?
And why is it that Mr. Ravindra Swarupa, the biggest current GBC leader and
chairman of seventy four GBC commitees, writing that it is the GBC leaders
who are at fault for teaching that Srila Prabhupada is ordinary, or even, a
mysognynist --and this is merely being reflected in this Dhyanakunda issue?
At the heart of this issue, writes Rocana dasa as posted on VVN, is the
GBC's so-called "Lilamrta: A Very Human Story." In this publication
Srila
Prabhupada is portrayed as a man who is: too attached to his family;
apparently bewildered; his "heart cracks" when he hears a bell ringing,
and
so on ad infinitum. And the nomenclature of address is, over and over and
over, "Abhay," which is never used in the writings of glorification
of
one's guru, especially for public reading. Even folks from the Gaudiya
Matha said that this "Abhay" form of address is never used in any
Vaishnava
writings to glorify the acharyas.
Worse, the author of this bogus "Lilamrta" was saying that Kirtanananda
is
like Jesus, Haridasa Thakura and Prahlad. In actual fact, Kirtanananda was
having sex with boys in his motorhome at the time this was written. So, SDG
is writing that Srila Prabhupada has material leanings, but homosexuals and
pedophiles are --like Jesus? So, how can we rely on this man's version of
anything? And why are we still distributing this type of writing in ISKCON?

years as most of you know. This coming March 19th is Gaura Purnima and we
expect many devotees to be attending. We are also going to have a maha Hari
Nama on Saturday - the day before. For the pleasure of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai
and GovindaGopal, we will be
offering over 108 preps for their Lordships transcendental pleasure. The
Deities will also receive a new outfit There will also be a transcendental
competition on Gaura Purnima for those who can answer a question(s)
correctly based on the lecture-with some unique gifts given away to the
luck recipient(s).
And of course, there will be the ever present, always popular rip-snortin'
kirtan which gives us sustenance, gusto and bliss to sustain our existence

5) MAYDAY!
Dear Pada pamho agtSP
Turley lawyers have been spotted loading court-to-iskcon-missiles. These
abused-Kuli-vajras, have the potential to blow iskcon into tiny mathas, or
even, off the face of "recognized religions." Iskcon's
(un)chartered-accountants are rummaging through temple drawers looking for
financial band-aids. They feel they can raise 20 million over ten years
(Turley rumours: 500 mill. U.S.) and this should be enough (the
"severity of each case" included).
Your readers may have read the cold, hard-hearted and impersonal
calculations posted on VNN. However, we suspect these computations to be
grossly in error. Maybe iskcon's mathematical Einstein's are unaware of
Turley's recent successes for abused kids, or,
they must be using cheap calculators (you know the ones, without enough
space to show "bankruptcy"). What these whizz-banggers don't seem
to
comprehend, is the emotional havoc abuse causes at all levels, and the
expertise with which the press play up this angle. The ramifications for an
"eastern cult" caught up in such a scandal is nothing short of disastrous.
All self-respecting life-members will distance themselves. Congregational
members will go back to the "Hindu-Society." Iskcon will be publicly
shamed
and disgraced. Another very important piece of knowledge our
abacus-minded-manumitters seem unaware of; is the undercover investigation
and research being undertaken in India. From the (Bengali) whispers, we
believe Indian lawyers will adopt a wait-and-see mode until the time is right.
Also, "cult" researchers in Australia are seeking interviews with
abused
Iskcon kids. Paedophilia activity and cover-ups at management level are the
causes given for litigations currently being processed in Sydney (watch
Pada for details as it unravels). Now, maybe bhaktas will appreciate the
martyrdom of Sulochana Prabhu, and
why the lonely voice of Puranjana Prabhu never ceased. Thank you Pada for
your commitment to the truth. You were "too radical," "too offensive,"
"un-vaisnava," so we never listened to your voice in the wilderness.
Hoping
to be gurus ourselves oneday, we permitted these "Neros" to play their
fiddles while Rome burned. Now the "body" of our Acarya Deva has been
desecrated by a low-life-sub-animals species.
Blemishes and doubts have appeared on our hearts, the beautiful face of
Bhakti Devi fades in the mist of controversy and the termites of
retribution come as a wave to engulf us. Researchers have recently
revealed:-"Contrary to popular opinion and the
accepted norm; eighty-five percent of serious crime is carried out by
well-to-do or middle-class persons with a "LEADER" syndrome."
So we can
understand that these "leaders" will never give Iskcon back to Srila
Prabhupada.
Although Iskcon leaders claim never to read Pada, we know this to be
untrue. So those of you who are peeking, please take this plea to your more
self-righteous colleagues.
"Do you wish that when you open your eyes, the "abuse" problem
would have
evanesced?"
"Do you want to save Iskcon's temples? and to amalgamate them once again?"
"Do you wish that devotees would come together, embrace and work unified
to
achieve this?"
"Do you want to see Srila Prabhupada "in action" again?"
"Do you want to see the proponents of "ritvik" disappear into
thin air?'
"Do you want the Calcutta court-case to be dropped like a hot-cake?"
"Do you want Iskcon to emerge (from this cesspit) as the "The Voice
of
Vaisnavism?"
"Do you want to experience the potent "Iskcon juggernaut" before
you die?"
"Would you like to achieve all this without any expense ...except your
pride?"
MAYDAY SOLUTION: (1) Order all temples..Twenty-four-hour-kirtan. (2) At the
end of kirtan...Maha Guru arotika. (3) All gurus ...dandavats at Srila
Prabhupada's feet ...and say:- (a) "Gurudeva, we are sorry for what we
did.
We give back to You, Your Iskcon. (b) We return all your disciples, whom we
falsely claimed as our own. (c) We shall officiate as diksa gurus, as per
your instructions. (d) Also, we will implement an (un-coerced) brahmanical
voting system on all levels of management, so that never again will we be
trapped by the illusions of our own self-worth. (e) We shall declare this
to every devotee, to every Iskcon temple and the universe. (f) We shall ask
all those who have left to come back home, to the house that you have
built, saying to them "Srila Prabhupada is waiting."
This is your last chance to admit your responsibility to Srila Prabhupada
our spiritual father, and to call upon His divine intervention. Also (and
most importantly for you), this admittance of your liability will save you
the hell of looking over you shoulder for the rest of this life, and all
the other lives to follow.
