(Telegraph- METRO SECTION) WARRANTS OUT FOR 8 ISKCON MONKS

The case of the Iskcon monk's suicide took a dramatic turn on Wednesday with the court ordering the police to arrest 8 monks of the order. One of them, the chief of Iskcon's Mayapur centre, is said to be absconding. Suresh das, 54, lodged in Presidency Jail after being charged with the rape of a woman, hanged himself in his separate cell last Thursday.

In his diary, he blamed his death on eight Iskcon monks who, he alleged, had hatched a "conspiracy" to ruin him. The damning entries in the diary prompted the jail authorities to lodge a complaint with the police. Subsequently cases of "abatement to suicide" and "conspiracy" were registered with the Hastings police station against the eight monks, seven of them based in Mayapur and one at Albert Road.

Hastings police station officer-in-charge Jayanta Das said : "The court has directed us to arrest the eight monks. We are now looking for them, but we have come to know that the head of the Mayapur office of Iskcon has already left the country." City police officials confirmed that their counterparts in Nadia had been asked to keep a watch on the 'wanted monks'. Documents pertaining to a dispute between the Mayapur and Calcutta offices of the order are also being examined, as the power struggle is said to have led to Das' death. Das belonging to an anti- Mayapur lobby was, apparently protesting the"illegal activities" of some of the monks the police said. Investigators are also trying to ascertain whether Das had been involved in the rape of a young woman at Iskcon's Gurusaday Road office. "We are waiting for the sample test report of the semen found on the clothes of the woman who was reportedly raped by Das," said an officer.

Meanwhile, Sattick Das vice-president of Iskcon, has alleged that the detective department of the city police has been "influenced by a powerful lobby close to the Mayapur ofice" to take over the case. "The case was originally being handled by the local police station. The detective department suddenly appeared on the scene and took charge of the investigations, after being influenced by the by a powerful lobby", Das said.

We have been informed by our Kolkata associates that an APV (apprehension order) has been issued by the justice department for the immediate arrest on sight, of the eight named conspirators, in the Sureshwara Das 'abetment to commit suicide' case. (still fresh on the press) It would appear from rumor, that the 'Rape' victim has 'Spat the dummy.' There was no rape......it was a conspiracy.

Maybe Madhusudani Dasi can explain to us why the press took the 'conspiracy angle'. Or why the Police have accepted the 'conspiracy angle'. Or why the ' victim' has affirmed the 'conspiracy angle'. Or why her guru and his henchmen have accepted the 'conspiracy angle'. They' ve all absconded. Every single one of them is on the run. Why?

Malaysia informs us; that JPS is passing through, on his way to Australia. Why do all the world's dropouts show up in Oz? War criminals and faggots. Pedophiles and cut-throat-criminals. No one has told this buffalo; Iskcon Australia is about to be blown over the moon. A group calling themselves the 'V V C' (Vaisnava Vigilante Committee) has got federal departments investigating Iskcon's bogus 'Charity' status. Its FFL rip-offs. Money-laundering tactics. Gurukula tax-scams. Breaches of immigration laws. Welfare cheating programmes and Tax evasion for the last thirty years.

Welcome JPS. The V V C is arranging a press conference for you when you get here. Don't forget to wear your wonderful head-gear. And give the cameramen a full view of you scarred neck. O Lordy! you can do so much for our case, and Aussie folk do prefer their crims a little 'ape-shit.' Good Luck mate, and thank you so much for destroying everything. I think we may have finally come to a point we can all agree--the importance of presenting the truth on Prabhupada and guru-kula. If Sanatana cannot defeat by logic and argument or better propaganda, then he should leave the debate just as most of the older ISKCON leaders have concerning you (Puranjana), but death threats are not acceptable. This was Sulocana's grave mistake both morally and legally as I think you and all of us have learned.

[PADA: Sulochana had his children taken away from him at gunpoint. So he used to say that if his case ever ended up in the courts, he would get sympathy from the courts. In other words, he had a unique claim: due to the kidnapping that he thought would make his threats understandable to the public. However, we still told him not to print and publicize such threats because it may not be understood by the public, and moreover if the bad guys did kill him, they would use those arguments against him in court to defend themselves, which is what happened.

The GBC clones flashed Sulochana's threats to the courts and public media and this diverted people from his real points, and confuted and confused his real issues. We told Sulochana that all he has to do is to say that they are worshipping homosexuals and kidnapping children, and his points would be clear enough. And then if they did kill him, it will make them look guilty instead of making it look like they were taking a justified pre-emptive strike. In sum, making public death threats is not good strategy. And even experienced politicians do not threaten to kill their opponents in public, although they may say such things in their private offices.]

RD: Death threats should always be reported and announced publicly to create greater verification. Bravo for taking these matters to the authorities and encouraging others to do the same. This is what the GBC should have done with Sulocana.

[PADA: The GBC was afraid to take Sulochana's efforts up with the Police because his other complaints were true.....]

RD: Makhunda does have a point. You have compromised your PADA or Prabhupada Anti-Defimation journal by failing to protest in your usual strong language against Turleys defamation of Prabhupada. You are choosing between two evils much as the often GBC did when you fail to defend Prabhupada's name to Turley in the name of justice for Prabhupada. Your journal is dedicated to this one single task--defending Prabhupada. It is unbefitting for you to go mute on this case that directly reaches millions of people around the world.

[PADA: This is ridiculous. We never "went mute," rather we wanted to make an intelligent, organized and calculated response, for example, examining and discussing the letters about the gurukulas. We said these should be compiled and a presentation prepared. We even got someone to print out most of these letters and send them to us. However, before we were even able to get that complex project off the ground, or even put in a word edgewise on this topic, we immediately received severe death threats from the Mukunda party and they also informed us that we should not even bother compiling the letters and so on? So they became the judge, jury and hangman, a la the GBC.

In sum, if we are supposed to be the four star general leading the army, we cannot lead an army where the soldiers want to hang the general at high noon and rip up the documents proving his cause? Nor did we ever have a chance to discuss any long range "strategy" with others, nor were we even given a chance to look at the documents in consultation with others, rather the Mukunda/ Sanat sector decided to take the entire matter in their own hands and they wanted to alienate ALL of the ex-gurukulis, including the favorable ones who are in sympathy with us, by calling ALL of them "ruru" demons. Then they said that the ex-gurukulis simply want to take over Gita Nagari so they can sell all of the cows for slaughter, since the ex-gurukulis endorse cow slaughter, and so on, doing the maximum to inflame and upset the ex-gurukulis with their name calling and made up lies of false accusations. In sum the Mukunda and Sanat sector use the same name calling and made up lies techniques as the GBC. Mukunda/ Sanat even say that the ex-gurukulis endorse cow slaughter for their policitcal ends, although we do not know of many of them who eat meat and most of them are not in favor of cow slaughter? In sum, they are liars and politicians, just exactly like the GBC they say they want to topple.

Worse, we were actually counting on the Mukunda types to use the folio to help us with such a presentation. Instead, he said we should actually murder the pada editor and chuck out Srila Prabhupada's letters onto the street and never cite them? They are the ones who want to mute Srila Prabhupada's letters and they still do. You have mixed us up? So, they threw a huge monkey wrench into the program of bringing things forward and that is their intent. We also said that some of these ex-gurukulis had some just complaints as well, so we should try to consult with them and make a gesture of consideration at the very least, but then the Sanat/ Mukunda types said "no" to this plan as well, and they said that we should chop up these kids with a power saw and feed them to dogs, trying to make a wedge of complete break down.

So they 1) wanted to make this case worse by inflaming the participants, and 2) said directly that we should not bother making any presentation of the letters. Indeed, Sanat finally admitted that he did not want any of us to even bother with the Turley case at all? So, first he says, change the case, then he says, ignore the case? So these guys are for starters, wacked. It seems that they wanted to manipulate the case with their tactics and not allow any one else to have any input. Of course their tactics have made them persona non grata.

RD: I appreciate your the conflict for I too was going to sign on to Turley's case until talking with Nirmala Chandra and realizing the hatefulness he's created against Prabhupada. I would have to accept this hate by signing on unless protesting their blame of Prabhupada. Therefore, I have written a strong letter to Turley as you should.

[PADA: Our idea was to get some of the moderate voices onto the group of gurukulis involved with the suit. In sum, your testimony would have vastly more impact as a litigant than as an outsider making a private letter? Frankly, we do not think your private letter will have much impact at all? We think that if you are a participant, your testimony would have vastly more impact. If you could testify in court to millions of people, that will be more valuable than writing a letter to a few disgruntled folks? We have already wrote tons of strong letters and had very minimal and slow results, better is to have strong people involved directly. Your testimony will have a million times more impact than our so called strong letters.]

RD: I will be sending that letter shortly to you and all the devotees. I hope you and Sanantana and Makhunda will join me in this Prabhupada Anti-Defimation effort. Swapping threats and name calling is accomplishinng little. Put a little bit of the effort you have in going after ISKCON leaders into now compiling a detailed history of Prabhupada's innocence. The very title and purpose of your PADA journal demands as much.

[PADA: Well, we wanted that, and actually we were relying on Mukunda to help with that, but we cannot do everything. We are not God or Gods. And now that they are openly using GBC techniques, we are not interested in doing anything with people who use these tactics. And now people keep asking us, why is Mukunda/ Sanat not kicking on the faces of the perps, and instead they are kicking on the faces of the victims?
