A DEMON IS A DEMON?
We thank BIF's Saksi Gopal dasa for his writing the article enclosed below "Devils In Denomination" since it addresses what many of us have a hard to thinking about: some of the leaders of ISKCON may be (or previous ones may have been) "devils." We find that there is still a lot of sympathy for some of the GBC's most infamous leaders such as Tamal and Kirtanananda, for example, since "they did so much service." Never mind that many children were molested in Kirtanananda's camp (molested even by him personally), and many innocent devotees were banned and beaten, and some devotees were allegedly stabbed to death with screwdrivers and fed to dogs, all under the auspices of Kirtanananda's regime's jackboots, and so on. And yet we find even today that amongst similar minded "devotees," Kirtanananda's biggest henchmen like Radhanatha, Umapati, Kuladri, Tapapuja and similar others are still given big posts in ISKCON for the same reason, "they (by supporting Kirtanananda) did so much sevice."

Yet Kirtanananda's regime has all the symptoms of a demoniac regime, the children, the brahmanas, the elders, the women and the cows are not protected. Instead, the wife beaters, the homosexuals, the pedophiles, the child molesters, the drug dealers, the violent thugs, even the murderers, they are given protection. For example just after one of Kirtanananda's "devotees" Tapapunja, who is implicated in Sulochana's murder, was let out of jail recently, he is given a big post at New Vrindavana by the GBC.

Next, Shaksi Gopal identifies that there is simply no accountability in ISKCON, and this leads to problems through history with all forms of religions. No kidding. This is why the GBC's "guru plot" was and is such a problem for ISKCON. The GBC are supposed to be accountable, and replaced when they deviate. Yet if they are instead "eternally pure gurus," they are by definition: not able to deviate. And so they are not ever to be replaced, moreover they are in that post -- eternally? "Removing a guru" thus becomes a dangerous activity for the exposer, he can get killed.
