1103_new_vrindavan While repairing the temple pond a construction crew accidentally discovered human remains. The FBI came to investigate and found numerous unidentified bodies, one without a head. This picture is a reporter asking Kirtanananda about those bodies that had just been discovered. In reply, he said, "A dead body is no different than any other dirt. What does it matter what you do with dead bodies. We just put them in the ground in unmarked graves and forget about them." That was his explanation as to why there were unidentified dead bodies under the construction site of Prabhupada's Palace of Gold.
